With spring here a lot of people have fishing on their minds as a source of entertainment and an excuse to be outside in nature, even if we are cooped up inside right now. Boating company Yachts 360 sells most of its boats to competition saltwater fishermen that end up competing in some of the largest saltwater fishing tournaments in the US. We’ve compiled a list of the top 5 tournaments.

White Marlin Open

Taking place in Ocean City, Maryland around August 6th through the 10th. This tournament brings people together from around the world in hopes to walk away with the $1 million prize. Created to cater to both novice and experienced fishers this fishing competition usually has around 350 boats that come together to catch the biggest White Marlin they can find. With a great atmosphere, this competition is sure to keep even those who are not competing on the edge of their seat.

Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament

Another Marlin tournament this one starts in June and runs from the 11th to the 16th in Morehead City, North Carolina. This tournament takes place around the Mexico peninsula where the Black and Blue Marlin have the highest stakes. If you’re not looking to drag your boat that far you can always easily find a charter to take you out.
